A warm welcome to Golf Vacations Plus, we are your hosts, Ken and Solveig.
My name is Kenneth O’Brien and I am a native Irishman, born and raised in Dublin City. My wife, whom I met on vacation some 25 years ago, is Swedish! Together we have lived in different parts of Europe, i.e. Ireland Scotland and England, and in the USA. We have two lovely daughters, Rebecca and Emily, both currently developing their careers.
It was during our stay in California that I decided to take up golf. I was fortunate to receive some good advice from my friends, “invest in lessons”. This strategy proved correct, and after much practice and pain I soon realised that this “sport” wasn’t easy, but with the right amount of patience and determination one does eventually get better, it wasn’t long before I was hooked.
My wife Solveig, is a recognised “Milliner” (link), and has created many hats for famous events including Royal Ascot , she is currently preparing for an exhibition which will display many new creations, now scheduled for March 2006. The website is currently being developed.
